Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups mixed bell peppers (red, yellow, green), sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for a gluten-free option)
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Optional: Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Prep the ingredients: Start by slicing the chicken and chopped vegetables.
  2. Heat the skillet: In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the chicken: Add the sliced chicken to the skillet and stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add vegetables: Toss in the mixed bell peppers, broccoli, snap peas, and half of the green onions, stir-fry for another 5 minutes.
  5. Make the sauce: In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil, then pour over the stir-fry mixture and combine.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Remove from heat, garnish with remaining green onions, and serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Cut chicken and vegetables uniformly for even cooking. Adjust sauce ingredients for personal taste.
