Ingredients
1 lb ground pork or turkey
1 bag (14 oz) coleslaw mix
3 green onions, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, minced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Heat the oil: In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
Brown the meat: Add the ground pork or turkey to the skillet. Cook, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
Add aromatics: Stir in the minced garlic and ginger. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Incorporate vegetables: Add the coleslaw mix and soy sauce to the skillet. Stir everything together and cook until the vegetables are tender but still crunchy, about 3-5 minutes.
Season to taste: Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
Garnish and serve: Top with sliced green onions before serving. Enjoy your meal!
Notes
Consider using turkey for a lighter dish or coleslaw mix with added veggies for extra nutrition.
