Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast, cut into cubes
1/2 cup Korean BBQ sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon minced ginger
Salt and pepper to taste
Skewers (wood or metal)
Optional: Sesame seeds
Optional: Chopped green onions
Instructions
Make the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine the Korean BBQ sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, minced ginger, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well blended.
Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are thoroughly coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more intense flavor.
Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If you are using wooden skewers, make sure they have been soaked in water for at least 30 minutes to avoid charring.
Thread the Skewers: Carefully thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece to allow for even cooking.
Grill the Skewers: Place the skewers on the hot grill. Grill for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and you see nice grill marks.
Garnish and Serve: For an extra touch, sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions on top before serving.
Enjoy: Serve with your favorite side dishes, such as rice, grilled vegetables, or a fresh salad.
Notes
If you’re using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
